Feats of LASIK Surgery
LASIK surgeries are very promising, as they show clear signs of total healing from ailments. There are little or no side effects. LASIK surgery is a term usually referred to those techniques, which corrects eye diseases such as, astigmatism, myopia and hepermetropia through laser application.
Tom and I were best friends since childhood. We had much of similarities, such as, eating hot dogs, wearing navy blue shirt, playing guitars and singing songs. We were so much into each other that people mistook us to be twins. However, it was not for long as at 12 Tom got spectacles. Immediately, a difference was born among us.
The difference may seem minor, but it wasn’t so true. We started developing a difference. He quit his favorite hot dog, because his mom held them responsible for his weak sight. In classrooms, he shifted from by row to first bench. At 15, when I was with enjoying a campus life, Tom liked staying alone. It was 16 when our dreams were on a verge to become true. Army announced it’s opening for new recruitment for Army schooling.
We both had long dreamed it, as his uncle and my father are in military. However, there was some physical eligibility. They only took people with 6/6 vision. It was this time when Tom was confronted with benefits of LASIK surgeries. He underwent one, and to my surprise, he was able to see everything without any aids.
We appeared exams and passed, and today at 24, we are proud men, serving our nation, in army. Bravo to our friendship and bravo to LASIK surgery, which got us back together.
